Every Christmas I have a routine for the day. When I first wake up I would go to my stocking and dump the things in my stocking onto my lap. After that I would watch TV and wait for everybody to wake up. When everybody woke up, we would open presents at my house and then we would go to my Grandmas house. At my Grandmas house, we would make breakfast and wait for my uncles family to arrive. when they come in we would have a bit of time to talk to each other and then we would open presents. My family usually dose this thing where someone wheres a Santa hat and the person would pass them out. after everything was passed out we would open them. after we would open them we would have dinner, which is SO GOOD! We would have ham and turkey and many other things like an horderve tray. then when everything is over we would pack our presents in our car and drive home.

dear devyn, i like your deer mad by words. I like how all the words fit together. I also like how they all relate to Christmas. I love your writing its so relate able.
ReplyDeleteGreat descriptive writing of your Christmas day. Please edit and remove the "would" ...When I first wake up, I go to my stocking and...After that I watch...
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in the Student Blogging Challenge. I enjoyed reading about your Christmas routine. When I was a kid, my brothers and I were not allowed to go downstairs until my parent were awake. Time moved so slowly on Christmas morning. It was so hard to wait! It is nice that your family gathers at your grandmother's house. Does she live close by?
Your reindeer word art is beautiful! Are you planning on printing it out and giving it as a Christmas gift to someone in your family?
Have you had an opportunity to visit and comment on other blogs that are a part of the challenge? Here is one I think you should check out: http://ksc19jh.edublogs.org/
Jordan is a blogger from Australia, and I saw that Australia is on your list of places to visit in the future. Let me know what you think.
Happy blogging!
